Robyn & Royksopp, Basement Jaxx Release Videos For Their Songs Of Summer

If you're a fan of 2014's best dance music chances for the Song of Summer title, then today is like Christmas. "Do It Again," the earworm from Robyn and Royksopp, and "Never Say Never," Basement Jaxx's best song in a decade, both received full-fleged (and starkly contrasting) music videos today.

First up is "Do It Again," which receives quite a different music video than we had anticipated from director Martin De Thurah. “The video was filmed over three days in four Mexican states – Mexico City, Vera Cruz, Puebla and Hidalgo," Thurah says. "The stories we worked on and the world we created was much more interesting and captivating than just to focus on (the artists’) performance. I worked with the idea of ‘what is our heart’s desire?’ – and I realised that no one in the world truly gets to live out their passions. We are all under some construct, whether you’re an atheist living in Denmark or a gay person in Russia.”

Next, Basement Jaxx's return to glorious house music in "Never Say Never" sees the invention of a "TW3RK BOT." Well, if the Terminator storyline materializes in the near future, at least these bots would be a bit more entertaining as they attempt world domination!

Love the grown up sound from the Basement Jaxx team, but why the ridiculous, juvenile and sexist video? What a throw away.
