Scott Eastwood Lands The Lead In New Nicholas Sparks Film
Scott Eastwood (and his Instagram) proved to be quite popular with you all last fall--and now it looks like you'll be seeing him on the big screen in a leading role. (Considering how enamored many seem to be with him, perhaps you should wait for the DVD for private viewing??)
Deadline exclusively reports:
Scott Eastwood is set to star in Fox 2000′s Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Longest Ride, which Notorious helmer George Tillman Jr. is directing. Published in 2013, the Sparks lit romance tracks a 91-year-old man trapped in a car crash who reflects on his life with his deceased wife as a young couple fall in love miles away a few miles away. In his first major studio leading role, Eastwood will play Luke Collins, whose love affair with college senior Sophia Danko plays out as the youthful half of the romantic saga.
So Scott Eastwood in a Nicholas Sparks film presumably serving up his best Ryan Gosling a la The Notebook?? We could be into it.
What about you, Instincters? Ready to take Scott on 'The Longest Ride??'
