Shia LaBeouf Garnered His Role In "Nymphomaniac" By Emailing An X-Rated Selfie

The seductively handsome star of the upcoming escandaloso Nymphomaniac says that he landed his gig in the film after emailing his dick pic to director Lars von Trier.

“The first info we got—and I’ll never forget this because my entire team reacted with such fear—the first request from the production end, not Lars, was for pictures of my penis," Shia LaBeouf laughed.

“Lars goes, ‘Send him the letter. The letter was, ‘Are you game?’ I guess the first test was, ‘Let’s time how long it takes this motherfucker to send his dick over the internet. It was like 20 minutes. They were like, ‘All right, kid’s ready.’”

Imagine all the Hollywood roles NFL and NBA stars could garner if this method of casting catches on.

I totally agree with Ben Cooper Stevens. And who care about nicotine stained fingers and a missing tooth... Seriously...

Shia LaBeouf is one of my favorite new and "edgy" interesting young Hollywood actors. He follows his own instincts, and has a gritty, masculine, natural, tough quality about his acting.  He is also very bright, open, unbridled, available, and not afraid to go anywhere in his search for insight into a new character or role. He reminds me of some of the early Method actors, like Brando, Paul Newman and even James Dean, that Lee Strasberg encouraged in the early days of The Actors Studio. Shia has already done some great work on screen, that I believe will get even better with age. As he grows older and matures, he also grows in emotional and physical ways, which naturally effect his acting in a deeper way. He is an "experiencial" actor, meaning, as he experiences and explores the new character's he plays, he is open and available to express that role as his own, there by, creating an  interesting lifelike version of himself. Given the right opportunities and encouragement, Shia LaBeouf could be the next Marlon Brando or Shawn Penn, in my opinion.

Oops, I can't believe I misspelled Sean Penn. Sorry Sean!

Definitely missing a lower tooth. Perhaps a result of the terrible auto accident he was in a few years ago, where he almost lost his hand.I'm much more disturbed/grossed out by the nicotine stains on two of his fingertips and thumb. Nasty, yellow cigarette smoking stains are really vile.

Is he missing a thooth?

He pulled out his own tooth on the set of his current movie
