Twitter Goes In On Abercrombie & Fitch For Saying Pride Is 'Also For Straight People'

Abercrombie & Fitch managed to piss off a sizeable chunk of the internet, this weekend. And they did it with just one tweet.

As you can see below, the company appeared to suggest that LGBT+ pride is also for straight people.

This is what happens when you broaden the umbrella too much. At first it was gay and lesbian, then bi, then transgender, then queer. It used to be grassroots, now if you are a corporation and you do not participate, you pay the price. Stars stand with us, but is it real or publicity. It's not just us. Black Lives Matter deals with real issues, but if we do not include people of color, many of whom do not face the same prejudice, you're in trouble. I mean seriously, when was the last time an Asian was the victim of trigger happy police? So A&F believing Pride is for straight people too is just a result of watering things down too much, for the best of intentions, perhaps,  it watered down.

Yes they need to celebrate being straight because it's not enough that the world evolves around you now you have to take this.poor marketing decision..all they could have said is we stand with your community in support.
