Utah Governor Promises To Fight Newly Legal Same-Sex Marriage In The State

It doesn't come as a big surprise, but while Utah's gay and lesbian couples are celebrating new their right to wed (and have already begun marrying in the state!), Utah's Governor, Gary Herbert, has already vowed to fight the new law.

Herbert writes on his official website:

FROM GOVERNOR GARY R. HERBERT:

"I am very disappointed an activist federal judge is attempting to override the will of the people of Utah. I am working with my legal counsel and the acting Attorney General to determine the best course to defend traditional marriage within the borders of Utah."

Give it up. Next!

Will he be returning the money he took out of the over 11 thousand LGBT people living in Utah he stole from their paychecks, their hard earned money to spend on defending an illegal, unconstitutional, anti-American fascist law? Oh that's right, our money is important but us not so much. Does he know what slavery means?

P.S. Hitler had the same problem with judges who would not rule the way he wanted them to. "Activist judge" is only used by uneducated fascist trash who know nothing about American law.

I'll bet he's still upset about those activist judges who decided Brown vs. Board of Education and Virginia vs. Loving.

How tiresomely predictable.  Why is it that heretodox "Christian" sects with a history of being persecuted are so eager to get into the persecution business themselves?

And while he is at it I'm sure he is going to fight to allow polygamy, idiot, in Utah traditional was always untraditional.
