Video: Daniel Radcliffe Sounds Off On 'Uproar' Over His 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Snub
Daniel Radcliffe spoke to MTV News about the apparent "uproar" over the Harry Potter star not landing the role of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. (As you know, that role went to Charlie Hunnam, much to the consternation of Matt Bomer fans.)
Check out what Radcliffe had to say!
Radcliffe tells MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival: "I literally had someone say to me for the first time today, 'The world's in uproar you're not playing Christian Grey.' And I'm like 'If this is uproar, it's inaudible.' I think there was approximately no people wanting me to play Christian Grey, including myself."
"I have to say, no offense to anybody, I'm sure they're going to do a great job on the movie, but it's not something that I think of would have been a good next step for me."
Ya know, we love Daniel's self-deprecating sense of humor. Perhaps there's some "Christian Grey" role play in his future!
