Why is George Michael's Family Asking THIS of Fans?
George Michael's family has one simple request for his fans a year and a half after his passing.
Page Six has reported that his family is asking fans to remove flowers, photos and any other sort of tributes left outside his two homes.
A grassy square across from George's London home as well as his one in Goring, about 50 miles away, have fans leaving bouquet candles, flowers and an assortment of handwritten messages for the "Father Figure" singer.
His father, sister and friend David Austin wanted to reassure his fans that although they are touched by the outpouring of love they have for George, it boiled down to them asking his neighbors “to continue to accept as normality, the memorials so personal to you all, to remain as and where they are any longer.”
They asked fans to remove the tributes by May 27th, “leaving any you wish us to have.”
