He said:

“Wilson Cruz will be playing my love interest, my partner ― my man love ― and we’re both officers on the ship."

Rapp is perhaps best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway production of Rent.

Cruz, on the other hand, is well known for his dynamic portrayal of Rickie Vasquez, an out gay character on the 90s teen drama, My So Called Life

Maulik Pancholy is also cast in the show.  Any idea if he is playing a gay or straight character?
