Go For The Gold! E! Hosts Asks Adam Rippon Out on National Television

Adam Rippon may not have to be the next Bachelor or Prince Charming of sorts (there's a list he's on just in case), as guys just keep asking him out over and over and over again.  This time around, it happened on live television!

He appeared on E!'s show Daily Pop to talk about his life after the Winter Olympics, including his rumored rivalry with fellow figure skater Johnny Weir and his hilarious response to his mother's text that simple said "Be careful sexting."

Things got a tad awkward before the segment was over, as Daily Pop cohost Justin Sylvester first asked Adam if he's dating anyone right now.  "I'm not.  I've been so busy, that... I know?  Listen anybody out there, you let me know, but I've just been so busy that I haven't really had time with focusing on getting ready for the Olympics and it's just been a whirlwind after that."

The camera zoomed in on Justin during all of this, where he point blank said "So I'm going to throw this out there.  When you come to LA, I want to take you out on a date and grab drinks, your choice.  Or I could show you my LA, and we could just kick it."

Adam, who was smiling throughout, said "Wow, I love it.  I love to just kick it."  Justin was clearly "going for the gold" here, if you know what I'm saying (wink wink)

That being said, Sally Field's son Sam Greisman needs to step up his game ASAP as he also has made it very clear (or at least Sally has) that he likes Adam.

Adam Rippon Talks Fame, D**k Pics & Skating Moves in New Interview

Olympic bronze medalist Adam Rippon is never at a loss for words when it comes to his opinions on things, and his latest interview proves that focal point and then some.

Adam, who received a ton of varying opinions about his leather harness look at the Oscars this week, sat down with SiriusXM's Michelle Collins, who hosts a daily program called The Michelle Collins Show on Stars 109.

During the interview with Michelle, he talks about his massive fame but jokes that it's fleeting, his appreciation for receiving a ton of unsolicited d**k pics, and more.  Here's an excerpt of their conversation:

Adam: “Well, let’s get real, I’m the largest superstar in the world currently but, like, only for a week.

MC: Take advantage.

Adam: Yes.  But this is my first week in my new position.  Do you know what I mean?

MC: Oh, I know.  And that position is?  Ass backwards.  For the week.  I imagine you’re also getting a lot of unsolicited DPs and, are you the kind of guy who likes getting that?

Adam: Yes, of course I am.  I’m human! I find more humor in them than sexual arousal because it’s usually what comes along with the message which really ties a bow on top of that perfect package which is the DP.

So, it’s usually like “hey” they don’t hear from me for 2 days…dick pic.

MC: Hard to get.  That’s what the trick is.  It would be funnier for me if it were like, “You are such and inspiration…you’ve motivated me.  P.S. dick pic".

Adam: I was in such a dark place and now I’m feeling so much better.  Thank you so much…Flaccid penis, I’ve also gotten.  Why? I’m I supposed to paint a Renaissance painting? Why did you do that?

Do you like how Adam has handled his fame up until now? Let us know your thoughts!

Gay Extravaganza! Jim Parsons & Adam Rippon Join Britney Spears at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards

Britney Spears will be sharing the stage with two extraordinarily fabulous gentlemen on April 12th, as Jim Parsons and Adam Rippon will be in attendance at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills.

Whereas Adam is simply attending the ceremony, Jim will be receiving a very prestigious honor: GLAAD's Stephen F. Kolzak Award.  The Stephen F. Kolzak Award is given "to an LGBTQ media professional who has made a significant difference in promoting LGBTQ acceptance," per GLAAD.  The award is named after a legendary casting director who devoted the last part of his life to raising awareness in the entertainment industry about the discrimination faced by LGBTQ people as well as those living with HIV.

Past recipients of this award include Chaz Bono, Wanda Sykes, Melissa Etheridge, Pedro Zamora and Alan Ball.

"Jim Parsons’ talent, humor and impressive body of work have made him one of the most visible and beloved out LGBTQ actors today,” said GLAAD president & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis. “Parsons not only proudly tells LGBTQ stories through his roles, but also works behind the camera with his husband, Todd, to tell LGBTQ stories that raise the bar for Hollywood and inspire acceptance.”

It was announced back in February that Britney will be receiving this year's GLAAD Vanguard Award, which is presented annually to a member of the entertainment community who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights for LGBTQ people.

The Final Rose: 5 Gay Men Who Could Save the Dying 'Bachelor' Franchise

The most recent season of The Bachelor was a hot ass mess as Arie Luyendyk Jr. made a fool of himself by choosing one girl, then basically saying "Girl, bye" and then picking his runner up who he got engaged to on Tuesday night.  So romantic.

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to any of these relationships actually working out.  A recent top ten list by Ms. Mojo found that most of the relationships that do work out are from The Bachelorette seasons, and many of them are from the most recent seasons so its hard to tell if these couples will actually make it work while the cameras are off of them.

So what if one or both of these shows threw in an LGBT twist?  It took them 13 seasons to feature an African-American woman as The Bachelorette, and still have not featured an African-American man as The Bachelor, so we may be getting ahead of ourselves here, but let's think about that for a second.

Yes, we are fully aware that there have been gay versions of these in the past, and quite frankly, they were an embarrassment.  Bravo tried to do this sort of thing way back when with a show called Boy Meets Boy, where the premise turned out to be a major slap in the face to the LGBT community.  Unbeknownst to the suitor, there were gay and straight men competing to win his heart, except the gay men were there for the right reasons and the straight men would win a cash prize and a vacation if one in particular was chosen.  It was absolutely disgusting and a major relief that a 2nd season didn't exist.

Then we had LOGO's Finding Prince Charming.  Ugh.  The show would've been eons better if they had chosen a much better suitor who didn't have a super shady background, and they actually had a diverse cast as opposed to the atypical white dudes and a handful of minorities, but it happened and we can't take it back.

That being said, here are five gay celebrities who would give The Bachelor a great LGBT twist.  Sure, there would be drama, but it would be a great step forward for our community to see a desirable man find love in a way that isn't insulting to our community and can leave us wanting another season by the time the first one is up.

Antoni Porowski: One of the hottest shows to come out in 2018 is the reboot of Queer Eye, and Antoni has definitely given us something fun to look at as the show progressed.  Known for his food expertise and his laid back kind of approach in a sea of big personalities, Antoni would be a fantastic pick to lead a dating series of sorts as he's so much more than just yummy eye candy.

Adam Rippon: One of the biggest gay celebrities of the moment, this Bronze medalist would be a fabulous suitor as he's outspoken, handsome and looks to be a good time to be around.

Nyle DiMarco: Nyle isn't gay per se, but has admitted to being sexually fluid which works for us regardless.  He already has a major background in reality television, having won both Dancing With The Stars and America's Next Top Model, and it would be really fun to see a different side of him outside of the modeling and dancing stuff.

Derrick Gordon: Derrick made history as the first men's basketball player in the NCAA Division 1 to come out, so there's a major backstory there.   Also, he's adorably cute with a great body.  Win-win situation.

Matt Bomer: Yes, we know he's partnered.  But... it's Matt Bomer.  He's such an awesome actor and all-around good guy that would bring in a major female audience who has a major thing for him regardless of his sexuality (Magic Mike, ahem).

Who would you like to see as the first gay Bachelor?

Adam Rippon Speaks Out About Wearing a Harness to the 2018 Oscars

The 2018 Oscars were the least watched in almost a decade (not surprising), however one attendee definitely got us talking about something other than the predictable awards that were handed out on Sunday night.

Figure skater Adam Rippon, who won a bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, definitely got the gay and fashion communities talking about the leather harness that he wore under his Tuxedo.

Comments on social media ranged from "Who are you wearing? Tom of Finland," to "I'm wearing a harness to any formal occasion from now on," and "Biggest winner of @Oscars2018? Whoever got to top #adamrippon."

Amongst all the chaos, Adam issued this tweet on Monday night regarding his controversial attire, which in true form, he stands by completely.

Did you like Adam's harness at the Oscars?  Was it appropriate or no?

Adam Rippon Loses Control While Reading One Of His Favorite Fan Letters

Even though the 2018 Winter Olympics have officially ended, Adam Rippon is still our social media darling.

The Bronze medal winning Olympian is not only amazing for standing up to Vice President Mike Pence or giving sports commentary with comedian Leslie Jones, but he’s also a kind-hearted man who recognizes his effect on others.

Rippon posted on Twitter yesterday. In the tweet, captioned, “Of all the letters and messages I’ve gotten, this is definitely one of my favs. I love you, Alexis E,” Rippon recorded himself reading the fan letter out loud.

At the beginning of the video Rippon reads, “Dear Adam Rippon, we love you,” right before he starts to laugh from joy and embarrassment.

The question is, what’s next for the rising star? Rippon has certainly gained many new fans since the initial announcement that he would be going to the Winter Olympics only a month ago.

Since then, it seems like headline after headline contained some new quirky story involving the figure skater.

Now, post Olympics, Rippon has a myriad of career possibilities ahead of him. He could do more commentating, he could become a reality star (hopefully not, because he’s better than that), he could continue on with his sport, he could take a break, or he could do a mix of that and more.

We, and all his other fans, look forward to seeing what he’ll do.
