The View’s Latest Feud!

The View’s Latest Feud!

One Of The Co-Hosts Threatens To Call It Quits!

Welcome to The View! You should be familiar with the popular daytime talk show created by Barbara Walters where five women of different backgrounds get to sit among themselves and a viewing audience to discuss hot topics of politics, marriage, lifestyle, and so much more. It’s basically social media before there ever was one, you know, with people blabbing their opinion and trying to get their point across on a public platform. We’ve witnessed plenty of heated arguments on The View’s panel, including Rosie O’Donnell squaring off against Elisabeth Hasselback and all of the mess Star Jones brought to our screens. Frequent viewers of the show will know comedian, Joy Behar, and political commentator, Meghan McCain, have been brewing up a storm between one another that may have just touched down.

According to The Daily Mail, Behar is sick and tired of McCain and is threatening to leave the show. Which is a little odd, since after Walters left, The View is pretty much Behar’s show, along with EGOT Whoopi Goldberg. Their alleged feud comes shortly after McCain announced her solidarity with Behar when Kid Rock was filmed harassing the comedian, much to Behar’s chagrin. However, the women’s latest quarrel of the week came during the panel mourning the death of former President George H.W. Bush.

Behar, per usual, relates the death of Bush to the harrows of reigning President Donald Trump. She talks about climate change, pollution, and how the Trump Administration is trying to allegedly unravel everything Bush and former President Barack Obama did. McCain chimes in, asking if Behar can honor Bush and not circle back to her hatred of the current administration. Check out the clip below:

If you’re a daily View watcher as I am, you know that on the televised version as Goldberg cuts to commercial interrupting their tiff, Behar slams her cue cards on her desk and points her finger at McCain. McCain, hard to back down from anything, does the exact same and the camera pans to the audience members who are seemingly enjoying watching their argument. This is where The Daily Mail’s exclusive behind-the-scenes sources tell what allegedly happened within minutes:

Producers muted Behar's microphone so that her expletives would not be heard on air. Behar threw her hands in the air, yelled 'My God!' and 'Get this b***h under control. If this s**t doesn't stop I'm quitting this damn show. I can't take this much more. I've tolerated a lot of s**t on this show but I'm at my wits' end with this entitled b***h. Enough already! Enough already! I'm not playing nice any longer,' Behar shouted, despite the studio audience being able to hear it all.

‘I don't know why she's so upset. I just wanted her to focus on President Bush and not bring Trump into this for once.' McCain reportedly said while hair and makeup people attempted to groom both of the hosts, producers tried to calm Behar down before returning from the commercial break.

The View is my second favorite daytime talk show behind The Wendy Williams Show, simply because it’s a variety of opinions that slam together. Since McCain has joined The View, ratings have increased and so have opinions, mostly against the late Senator John McCain’s daughter. The only reason I stick with the show is to watch the open-minded view of Goldberg and to listen what McCain has to say. I’m gay and mostly left-minded, but Behar absolutely does relate everything back to her hatred of Trump. Every single day, each conversation, she winds up making a dig at Trump. In recent months, the panel were discussing sex acts with Michael Avenatti, who grossly said he enjoys using handcuffs during intimacy. Behar perks up, claiming she wants to put handcuffs on Trump. Ha-ha, Joy. Listen, it’s not funny anymore and Behar is no longer a reason why I continue to watch, only why I roll my eyes. Still though, both of these ladies are necessary for the show to continue to succeed, but I would continue being an avid viewer with Behar’s seat empty.

Would you continue to watch The View without Joy Behar?

Wealthy Gay Couple Flip From Dem To GOP Depending On Who's In Charge

The New York Times has profiled Donald Trump supporters Bill White and his husband Bryan Eure.

The primary interest in the couple is that they are that rare breed of openly-gay Trumpers.

In fact, they are organizing a $5 million fund-raiser for the Trumpster this winter and boast about having Don Trump Jr. on speed dial.

But that wasn’t always the case.

For years they enjoyed being a part of Manhattan’s liberal elite.

They supported both of Hillary Clinton’s bids for president quite whole-heartedly, paid Aretha Franklin to sing at their 2011 wedding, and even hosted President Obama at a high-end $39,500-a-plate fund-raiser at their townhouse in Manhattan’s uber-gay neighborhood, Chelsea.

But, per the New York Times, on election night November 8, 2016, while standing among the Hillary supporters in what everyone expected to be a celebration, White saw the writing on the wall in the election returns.

Without missing a beat, he jumped in his car and drove to the New York Hilton, where Trump was celebrating the surprise win.

“I didn’t want to be part of that misery pie; I’m not a wallower in self-pity,” White told the New York Times. “I really believe that once that decision is made, you have to get behind your president.”

Mr. Eure, a commercial insurance broker and a longtime Republican, was happy for the change of heart by his husband.

From that point on, it seems the duo have no problem explaining away any perceived negatives of the president.

When it comes to the many ways Trump’s administration has attacked or pared back LGBTQ protections, Eure waves off the accusations saying, “I don’t like identity politics.”

This from the man who is married to his husband only because of the progress made by liberal Democratic politicians and activists.

When someone brings up the many lies of Trump, despite actual facts and video tape to prove such falsehoods, Eure dismisses the issue as mere “embellishments.”

“Exaggerations,” White adds. “He’s the marketer in chief for the United States. So what?”

Their drinking of the Trump kool-aid has earned them the ire of former friends with whom the couple used to hob-nob among.

Even Nick Merrill, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton says, “They ran to the other end of the spectrum and then walked off the ledge.”

“Our democracy has been set on fire by this president, and they want what, an invite to Mar-a-Lago?” Merrill added.

In fact, access seems to be very important to White and Eure.

The Times articles recounts an episode earlier this year at Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar in Midtown Manhattan where the two men couldn’t seem to get Chelsea Clinton’s attention across the room.

Incensed, White pulled out his phone and called Donald Trump Jr. According to White, Junior immediately offered to come right over.

Pleased with the answer, White explained, “Trump picks up on the first ring. If you want to get to Chelsea Clinton, you have to call through five people.”

Mr. Eure shares a story of the time he was traveling to Philadelphia to attend the former Secretary of State’s address at the Democratic National Convention.

As part of the story, he include the day’s inclement weather which forced him to ‘borrow’ a friend’s helicopter. But upon arriving, they rushed to greet Clinton only to be blocked by a campaign official.

“This was about because we didn’t write a $25,000 check,” Eure explains of the late campaign timing.

But the Clinton campaign remembers the story differently.

“Some people give their time and resources to causes and candidates for the right reasons, some don’t,” said Merrill. “No better indication of which case this is than to watch a guy decide to embrace Trump and all he stands for because he couldn’t get his picture taken one night.”

It’s worth noting that the Times piece almost glosses over the fact that White, a former president of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in Manhattan, suddenly resigned from his position in 2008 and was forced to pay $1 million restitution after the state of New York had begun an investigation into whether he might have engaged in unlicensed commercial fund-raising.

Along the way, White and Eure show little concern for the damage Donald Trump has done and will continue to do to the LGBTQ community

From removing all mention of LGBTQ people from the official White House website within hours of Trump taking office, to attempting to remove all transgender military service members, to the recent leaked memo that details plans to ‘redefine’ trans people out of existence, these two don’t care as long as they have their access.

Just to show how the couple flip-flops from power center to power center, here they are happy to pose with President Obama at the Broadway musical, Hamilton:

Do You Date Outside Your Political Party?

Do You Date Outside Your Political Party? Can there be sex across political lines?

I’m a registered Democrat, but openly Libertarian and voted for Hillary Clinton. I see nonsense from all political parties, yet swing more left on most of the topics. In no way am I a Trump Supporter, but I can clearly understand why the Republican party, in particular, has been so popular in history and especially since more modern Republicans begin to evolve further from their traditional values. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with trying to see both sides of any argument. But when it comes to dating, should I be turned down for a date with someone because of my political affiliation, because I’m Libertarian? And on the flip side, should I deny someone because they are a Left or Right-Wing Radical?

Over my short life, I’ve witnessed the internet and social media take over the world. Everyone has an opinion – and your opinion doesn’t necessarily have to be tasteful, since there's likely another Keyboard Warrior who will come to your defense. Case in point: The Election. Ever since Donald Trump was miraculously elected into The White House, I’ve encountered countless anxieties on social media and in life. There still isn’t a day that passes when I’ll spot someone ranting to: “Delete me if you’re a Republican!” Granted, I’m using proper punctuation, a lack of emojis, and less aggressive language. During Thanksgiving 2017, I was scrolling through the socials and kept finding many posts about people proclaiming they screamed at Republican family members over the holiday weekend. Was this a little far-fetched? Our voices are much louder on social media than they are in reality. But because of these alleged heated interactions, I began to question ... Do politics make a person?

For me, I would be open to dating someone outside of my political circle and beliefs. I don’t think many would agree with me. I know at least a hundred people who wouldn’t even be kind to someone who is in a different political party from them. To be honest, I don’t believe I even know many gay Republicans anymore, but I’m still open to going on a date with anyone across the political spectrum, just as long as they aren’t trying to use our dinner to pull me over to their mindset like in a high-pressure timeshare sales meeting. I’ve made up my own neutral standing and love where I am at politically, as it has kept me sane since the 45th President has changed our lives.

Is dating someone within your political party important to you?  Well if you're interested in reaching out and you are blue in more ways than one, Trump Supporters have their own dating website.

Caitlyn Jenner On Trump: "I Was Wrong"

Caitlyn Jenner, arguably one of the most famous transgender people in the world, has penned an op-ed for The Washington Post saying her “outlook has changed significantly” regarding her support for Donald Trump and his administration.

“These past two years under President Trump have given me the opportunity to reflect on a lot of topics that have come up in the LGBTQ community and in our nation,” writes Jenner. “As I’ve watched and pondered, my outlook has changed significantly from what it was during my highly publicized and glamorized early Caitlyn days, when my life as an out trans woman was just beginning.”

Admitting she’s been on a learning curve since coming out as transgender, the 68-year-old reality celebrity shares she has “reflected on what my unique position of privilege means and how I can best use it to make a positive difference.”

Pointing to Trump’s declaration at the Republican National Convention in 2016 where he promised he would do everything in his power to “protect LGBTQ citizens from violence and oppression,” Jenner says she “saw fertile ground for change within the Republican Party on LGBTQ issues.”

With American views on LGBTQ citizens improving, even in the GOP voter base, Jenner felt “optimistic that this was how I could leverage my privilege for change.”

After “many trips to Washington” which produced what she described as “positive” and “encouraging” conversations, Jenner felt hopeful for “positive change.”

“Sadly, I was wrong,” admits the former Olympian. “The reality is that the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president. The leader of our nation has shown no regard for an already marginalized and struggling community.”

“He has ignored our humanity,” continued Jenner. “He has insulted our dignity. He has made trans people into political pawns as he whips up animus against us in an attempt to energize the most right-wing segment of his party, claiming his anti-transgender policies are meant to “protect the country.”

“This is politics at its worst. It is unacceptable, it is upsetting, and it has deeply, personally hurt me.”

Jenner now feels her belief that she could work with the Trump administration to improve transgender lives was “a mistake.”

She calls the recently leaked Department of Health and Human Services memo, that reveals a plan to redefine gender in a very narrow manner that could virtually erase 1.4 million trans people in the United States, “just one more example in a pattern of political attacks” on trans people.

“I do not support Trump,” she shares. “I must learn from my mistakes and move forward.”

“I need to listen more to the members of the LGBTQ community and to learn more. I need to better use my voice, my privilege and my foundation to advocate and support our community.”

Jenner concludes with the statement: “The world needs to hear us. The world needs to know us. We will not be erased.”

While it's laudable that Jenner can admit her "mistake," some in the Twitterverse felt the admission was a case of 'too little, too late.'

What do you think, readers? Is it 'forgive and forget' time regarding Jenner's Trump support?

New Jersey Activists Attack Trump's Plan to Erase Trans Identities

LGBT activists in New Jersey are speaking out against Donald Trump's plan to redefine gender as matching one's birth genitalia, according to NorthJersey.com. Randy Slovacek has written more about this issue here.

By Trump attempting to redefine gender as strictly binary and the same as someone's birth sex, him and his administration are displaying a tenuous understanding of the concept of gender and would completely erase the identities of transgender and nonbinary people on a federal level. Since the United States is a constitutional republic and not an authoritarian state, I, and many other people, have a problem with the federal government trying to police identities.

Luckily, certain states such as New Jersey, have full legal protection under the law for LGBTQ people so NJ and others with such protections will not be affected as much as states without the protections. Still though, Trump's potential redefinition may set a dangerous precedent that could create a more hostile environment for trans people. In the past I worked in pediatrics and I knew of a few intersex patients, and by using Trump's definition, intersex people would not exist in a linguistic sense.

People such as Melinda Mangin, an associate professor at Rutgers Graduate School of Education, says that Trump's definition of gender being determined by birth genitalia is not supported by advances within the medical community. Perry Halkitis, dean of the Rutgers School of Public Health, addressed the medical aspect of this redefinition, saying that often times, health issues are specific to the identities ghat people hold and that healthcare providers have to be mindful of the gender identities of their clients in order to ensure a healthy environment.

Not only will identities be erased, but people may also be in danger of losing access to education, healthcare, and employment. However, recently in New Jersey, governor Phil Murphy signed into law that transgender individuals will be able to change their gender on their birth certificate, that teachers do not have to disclose their students' gender identity to parents, and that health insurers can't discriminate against transgender NJ residents.

It's promising to know that transgender and nonbinary people will not be too horribly affected, but seeing as these states are technically united (whether federally or geographically) so it is important that people fight against this harmful potential policy to ensure that we remain united in this polarizing time in America's history.

Stormy Daniels Dishes Trump Sex: "I Laid There And Prayed For Death!"

Stormy Daniels dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote her new tell-all memoir, Full Disclosure, and along the way the porn star offered even more details about her 2007 sexcapade with Donald Trump.

Out actress Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story: Apocalypse) gleefully asked if she could stay on stage for the Stormy segment telling Kimmel she would love to play the porn star in the film version of her book.

After sitting down, Kimmel took the conversation right to "Chapter Trump."

Daniels shared that when she first met the Trumpster in his hotel suite that fateful night, he was wearing silky black pajamas: “I’m pretty sure I thought he was channeling Hugh Hefner. Significantly less sexy.”

According to Daniels, she told him to change.

“I wish you could make him change now,” quipped Kimmel.

“He followed orders much better back then,” Daniels said with a laugh.

Kimmel replied he thought Daniels could still order the Donald around a bit, but Daniels was quick saying, "I don't speak Russian."

Kimmel couldn't help but bring up the now-infamous moment during the evening when Daniels reportedly spanked the Donald with a magazine, asking, “What does he do, when you spank Donald Trump?”

Without pause, Daniels responded, “Do you want me to show you? Get up!”

After spanking Kimmel with her book, the late night host paused to pray saying, "Please, God, let him (Trump) be watching this right now."

Eventually, the chat gets around to Daniels and Trump doing 'the deed.'

“And you made love,” said Kimmel.

“Gross”, shrieked Daniels. “What’s wrong with you? I laid there and prayed for death!”

Kimmel referenced the passage in Daniels' book where she had described Trump's junk as being "smaller than average" and said his penis was “like the mushroom character in Mario Kart.”

The late night host then presented Daniels with a tray of mushrooms and asked the porn star to pick the one that most resembled Trump’s penis.

“Can you hold it up so it’s coming at me at the correct angle?” asked Daniels.

Taking a moment, she selected one of the smaller toad stools saying with a sly grin, "It's the most accurate depiction."

Throughout the segment, Daniels showed herself to be confident, smart and quick with a clever line.

Watch below. Daniels' memoir, Full Disclosure, is available now.

California Man Could Get 5 Years In Prison For Death Threats To Boston Globe

A California man who used homophobic slurs while making multiple death threats targeting the Boston Globe was arrested by the FBI this week.

Robert Chain of Encino, California, has been charged with making threatening communications in interstate commerce after he allegedly called in threats to the Boston Globe newsroom 14 times over a 12-day period between August 10 and 22.

The threats apparently stemmed from the Globe’s call for newspapers across the nation to publish op-ed pieces in support of a free press all on the same day.

From the Department of Justice:

On Aug. 10, 2018, the Boston Globe announced that it was requesting that other newspaper publications around the country publish a coordinated editorial response to political attacks on the media. The coordinated editorial response was to be published on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018.
According to court documents, immediately following the announcement, Chain began making threatening calls to the Boston Globe’s newsroom.

In the calls, Chain referred to the Globe as “the enemy of the people” and threatened to kill newspaper employees.

In total, it is alleged that Chain made approximately 14 threatening phone calls to the Globe between August 10 and 22, 2018.

Over 300 newspapers took part in the coordinated editorials.

Homophobic slurs “faggot” and “cocksuckers” were a popular choice of insult used by Chain.

According to an affidavit filed by the FBI, Chain said in an August 13 phone call, “Hey, how’s your pussy smell today, nice and fresh? We are going to shoot you motherfuckers in the head, you Boston Globe cocksuckers. Shoot every fucking one of you.”

During a call on August 16, Chain used the word “faggot” as he continued to threaten the Globe, which he referred to as “the enemy of the people.”

“You’re the enemy of the people, and we’re going to kill every fucking one of you. Hey, why don’t you call the F, why don’t you call Mueller, maybe he can help you out buddy. Still there faggot? Alright, why, you going to trace my call? What are you going to do motherfucker? You ain’t going to do shit. I’m going to shoot you in the fucking head later today, at 4 o’clock. Goodbye.”

In a call on August 22, the 68-year-old was recorded as saying, “You are the enemy of the people, and I want you to go fuck yourself.”

Chain added that he would continue with this threats “as long as you keep attacking the President.” Chain went on to use the term “fake news” in that same phone call.

The phrases “enemy of the people” and “fake news” have been used many times in past months by President Trump as he has attacked various news outlets in public statements.

In fact, since the deadly gun shooting in June at the Maryland newspaper, The Capital Gazette, Trump has used the term nine times.

When police entered Chain’s home, they found over 20 firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Chain, who was released on $50,000 bond, faces a possible five year prison sentence, one year of supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.

Anti-LGBT Pastor Explains Why Evangelicals Don't Care About Trump's Adultery

Last night’s event at the White House was grand enough to rival past ’state dinners’ held for visiting heads of state as President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence welcomed a ‘who’s who’ of evangelical, anti-LGBTQ leaders.

Prominent anti-gay haters included longtime anti-choice activist Ralph Reed, hate group leader Tony Perkins, Texas megachurch Pastor Robert Jeffress (who once declared that Jews are going to hell for killing Jesus),  and “Christian” activist Jim Garlow (who has publicly stated gays are ‘demonic’).

That said, Donald Trump’s White House crew were all on hand to happily take pics with the leaders of Trump’s evangelical base, including supposedly LGBTQ-friendly Jared and Ivanka Trump.

Many Americans have found it difficulut to understand how so-called “Christians” can reconcile so many less-than-moral incidents in Trump’s past and present.

In fact, a recent Fox News poll shows Trump enjoys 74% job approval from evangelicals.

In reality, the answer is simple: they are getting what they want, so they don't care about Trump's moral lapses.

On Fox News last night, Jeffress explained to host Shannon Bream that as long as Trump delivers on the policies he and his ilk want to see passed, they will not be ‘shamed’ for supporting the Trumpster.

“I know a lot of people are still perplexed ‘Why are Christians so supportive of Donald Trump?’” Jeffress said. “Well, it’s really not that hard to figure out when you realize he is the most pro-life, pro-religious liberty, pro-conservative judiciary in history and that includes either Bush or Ronald Reagan. I think that is why evangelicals remain committed to this president and they are not going to turn away from him soon.”

“To be fair, Shannon, we have to understand these are still allegations against the president, so I’m not going to judge the president on these things,” said the megachurch pastor. “But even if they were true, some of these allegations, I mean, obviously, we don’t support extramarital affairs, we don’t support hush money payments, but what we do support are these president’s excellent policies,” Jeffress continued. “And I think most thinking people can absolutely differentiate between the two.”

“And don’t be mistaking what is going on here. Those who hate President Trump, those on the left know that if they can dislodge his evangelical supporters from him, they have a shot at overtaking the White House. So I think the left is trying to shame people like myself continuously for supporting this great president. It’s not going to work. We’re not going to turn away from him.”

Watch Jeffress explain why he and fellow “Christians” won’t be ‘shamed” by Donald Trump’s deeds below.

Sources Say Omarosa Is Showing Around Recordings Of White House Conversations

Omarosa is allegedly playing “tapes” of private conversations held in the White House that she secretly recorded.

The Daily Beast reports that Omarosa Manigault-Newman has been letting others hear these recordings, which she taped through her cellphone, as a way to promote her upcoming “tell-all” book titled UNHINGED.

The word is that at least one of these conversations, the topics of which have yet to be shared, even contains Donald Trump’s voice.

While the Daily Beast reports that it has several sources who have confirmed the existence of these recordings, Omarosa herself and her representation have yet to make an official comment on the matter.

The spokesperson for book publisher Simon & Schuster also refused to comment on the recordings, but they did touch on Omarosa’s upcoming book.

“Without commenting on the specific contents of UNHINGED,” the spokesperson said, “we are confident that Omarosa Manigault Newman can substantiate her highly-anticipated account of life inside the Trump White House.”

As some have pointed out on social media, this is a recurring problem. This is the second time that someone has secretly recorded Donald Trump and his team. The first being former personal attorney Michael Cohen.
