Matt Bomer, Zachary Quinto & More Appear In Video Observing 20 Years Since Death Of Matthew Shepard

Twenty years ago, in the aftermath of the horrific murder of 21-year-old college student Matthew Shepard outside Laramie, Wyoming, The Tectonic Theater Project traveled to the town to conduct interviews with the people of the town. Those interviews eventually became The Laramie Project.

Premiering in 2000, the acclaimed play has become one of the most performed contemporary plays in the world.

On September 24, 2018, the Matthew Shepard Foundation and Tectonic Theater Project will present a benefit reading of The Laramie Project to honor the progress made over the last two decades to erase hate.

As part of the company's #EraseHate campaign, a stellar collection of stars came together to help create a new music video set to a new original song, "Love Is Love."

The PSA features Matt Bomer, Billy Porter, Harvey Fierstein, Zachary Quinto, Michael Urie, Mary Louise Parker, Bridget Moynahan, Annaleigh Ashford and Michael Benjamin Washington. The video was directed by Sue Kramer.

Zachary Quinto Shows Us Around His Amazing NYC Loft

Architectural Digest was nice enough to bring us inside Zachary Quinto... 's home.

The legendary interior design magazine uploaded a video to their YouTube page this week that brought us inside Zachary's $3.2 million (yes, that number is right) loft that he shares with his partner Miles McMillan in NYC.

Apartment hunting in Manhattan can be an incredibly tedious process, but Zachary admitted that this space was the first one that they saw and they took advantage of it.

Here are some fun takeaways from the video itself:

  • They have a lot of crystals. Lots and lots and lots of them.
  • Zachary and Miles have an Annie Leibovitz coffee table book, and the page that is displayed for everyone to see from it happens to be a photo of two Dame's: Judi Dench and Helen Mirren.
  • Miles paints really hot guys.
  • They own a "coke dish" from playwright Tennessee Williams.
  • Andy Warhol stares at you while you pee in their powder room.
  • I want to get in their bedroom... for design purposes.

Almost Ready: 'The Boys in the Band' Broadway Cast Share First Group Photo

The Broadway revival of The Boys in the Band is less than a month away, as the curtains officially go up on April 30th at the iconic Booth Theatre in New York City. Two-time Tony award winner Joe Mantello is set to direct this legendary play, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of its original premiere on Broadway back in April of 1968.

The show centers on a group of gay men who gather in an NYC apartment for a friend’s birthday party. After the drinks are poured and the music is turned up, the evening slowly exposes the fault lines beneath their friendships and the self-inflicted heartache that threatens their solidarity.

It eventually was adapted into a movie back in 1970 that starred Kenneth NelsonLeonard Frey and Cliff Gorman.  The film has a 100 percent positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes and earned Kenneth a Golden Globe nomination.

The new cast, which includes A-list stars like Andrew Rannells, Matt Bomer, Zachary Quinto and Jim Parsons, shared a group shot of them doing rehearsals in Los Angeles yesterday.

The party is just getting started... #BoysintheBand starts previews April 30th.

Also featured in the group shot are fellow stars Charlie Carver, Michael B. Washington, Robin De Jesus, Tuc Watkins and Brian Hutchinson.  Given that we are in Tony Awards season (June 10th, 2018 is the official date for this year's ceremony), there is little to no doubt that this show will receive a ton of love when the nominations are announced this May.
