Mitt Romney became the first GOP presidential candidate to promise not to sign that alarming pledge from Iowa's "Family Leader" declaring homosexuality a choice, marriage equality an abomination and children born into slavery more successful than children born since abolition. It's not much, but we'll dust of the "Lesser of the Evils" crown (we haven't used it much since the Bush II era) and let Mitt wear it a bit today. Details follow.
