(We're rubbing our Jonas Brothers-brand promise ring as we try our hardest not to resort to Tim Gunn catch-phrases during this story.) During the Tuesday taping of his new daytime show The Revolution, gay style-maker Tim Gunn announced that he's been abstinent since the Reagan Administration. 

As a follow-up to his wildly successful collaboration with Chris Salvatore last month ("Baby It's Cold Oustide," sales from which benefitted the Stonewall Foundation), Mister Chase returns with an '80s-inspired single, "Nasty Habit." While we've surely had many of our own in the past, our new year nasty habit is a healthy Addiction to Mister Chase (how many more references to the pop-star can we fit in?) that's propelled to new heights with this release! As the nation prepares to celebrate President Ronald Reagan's 100th birthday this weekend, healthy discussions of his still-forming legacy have popped up everywhere. One of the mars on president's record -- a criticism lofted by the LGBT community and its allies since the 80s -- is the Reagan Administration's handling of the then-burgeoning AIDS epidemic. This video, appearing all over the gay blogosphere today, reminds us of the controversy. 

So, hindsight is 20/20, but surely Mr. Jimmy Ienner, past president of Millenium Records, regrets passing on a new artist by the name of Madonna in 1981. 

It's interesting to note that Mr. Ienner claims the only thing missing from Madonna's package is "the material." Maybe that's what pushed Her Madgesty to become the Material Girl?

If you were alive in the 80s like me unlike I was, you'll find catharsis in the possible outing of New Kids On The Block's Jonathan Knight by the decade's pop-princess, Tiffany. On Bravo's Watch What Happens Live airing Thursday night, audiences watched as Tiffany remembers awkwardly dating the boy band star.
