Beyoncé has crushed the dreams of many a gay hoping to hear the diva's take on "Evergreen" by exiting the fourth remake of 1937's A Star Is Born.  

Seemingly intent on making every other pop star look lazy (save for maybe Rihanna, who releases a new album every Tuesday), Beyoncé apparently has not one but TWO albums in the works for 2012. More after the jump.

Maybe we should have stopped at six three martinis last night because news that Clint Eastwood (of all people) will direct Beyonce in the 82nd remake of A Star Is Born is making our head spin!

According to Deadline:

What a coup for Warner Bros getting The Man on this, the 4th version of A Star Is Born. Of course, Clint Eastwood will produce (as always through Malpaso) as well as direct the script by Will Fetters along with producers Billy Gerber and and Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters (who made the infamous 3rd version of A Star Is Born with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson). No male lead is cast yet, but the possibilities are endless. The project, which has been at WB for several years, had hoped to pair Beyoncé...

Judy’s back, darlings!

The 1954 musical touted as Judy Garland’s comeback, A Star Is Born, has been restored for high-def on Blu-Ray, meaning Judy’s comeback is back again! That’s more backs than a body-waxing aesthetician sees before the summer boardwalk season fires up on the Jersey Shore!

The iconic star plays the role of Esther, an unknown, talented singer who saves a dimming matinee star from an embarrassing public situation. To repay her, the saved has-been drafts her into “pictures” (must be said with Golden-era American accent), and A Star Is Born!
