Our national heroes (when we pretend to be British), Ab Fab's Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders broke quite a few rules while carrying the Olympic Torch on behalf of England....

...and we think that's absolutely fabulous, dahhling!

A few weeks ago we saw a promo video featuring gold-medal marathon smoker Patsy (Joanna Lumley) and her pal Edina (Jennifer Saunders) and a fake Olympic torch teasing Absolutely Fabulous' upcoming Olympics special. Today we're getting Ab Fab realness as the gaydored duo got a chance to carry the authentic Olympic torch through its penultimate laps in Chelsea, London's gayborhood, and Sloane Square.

Our idea of an Ab Fab Olympics is curling up with four or five bottles of Veuve Clicquot and watching a BBC America marathon of the iconic British comedy. Thankfully, Patsy and Edina have something totally different in mind.

Ever the purveyors of trends, the (gracefully) aging ladies of Ab Fab catch up on all they've missed since they last made us ROFL—such as Twitter, Blogs, iPads, Black Licorice supplements, and denim Spanx—in a just-released teaser for the upcoming holiday special.

Sad that gaydored fabulous middle-aged females would not be returning to the small screen with a Sex And The City comeback? Perhaps word that fabulous middle-aged females will be returning to the small screen with an Absolutely Fabulous Christmas special will turn that fairy frown upside down! Details follow. 

We wouldn't be the gays we are today if it wasn't for Absolutely Fabulous, which will stumble back onto television thanks to a new Logo acquisition! 

TGIF! What better news to justify a Friday morning Bellini than the possibility of an Absolutely Fabulous return to TV? And not that horrid Americanized version that was offensive on all levels; the full original cast of the iconic show is close to finalizing a deal that would allow for a return to TV.
