In a footrace with Tennessee to see which state can be the first to fuck up its kids, Utah has taken an early lead. Late Tuesday afternoon, the Utah Senate quietly approved a bill that severs sex education while also provides a "Don't Say Gay"-type clause. Details follow.

The new Catholic approach to dealing with its homosexual members has found a test market in Hartford, Connecticut, where the archdiocese there has launched Courage—an abstinence program designed to tell LGBT Catholics it's OK to be gay, well, as long as you're not gay. Though I find the video a bit righteous and the notion that AIDs should be stopped through celibacy and waiting until marriage archaic and possibly even dangerous, Miss Ray feels so strongly about it that she and a few of her catering pals got together to spread the word via karaoke-style music.
