We were fortunate enough to catch this brilliant film when it screened at Outfest in July and we had to share its new trailer with you, Instincters!

Grab your tissues. Here's the rundown:

"When a teenager with Down syndrome (Isaac Leyva) is abandoned by his mother, a gay couple (Alan Cumming and Garret Dillahunt) takes him in and becomes the loving family he's never had. But when their unconventional living arrangement is discovered by authorities, the men are forced to fight a biased legal system to save the life of the child they have come to love as their own."

Point Foundation, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for GLBT students, has announced the three recipients of its Courage, Horizon and Inspiration Awards.

Actors Alan Cumming and Brittany Snow, along with Audi, will be recognized at the group's annual gala, Point Honors, held Sept. 25 in Hollywood.

Point's executive director Jorge Valencia calls Alan "a wonderful example of what our scholars should strive to be: proud of their diversity and generous and vocal in their support of the community." He'll be awarded the Point Courage Award, while Brittany will receive the inaugural Point Horizon Award, created to recognize young people taking a leadership role in advocating on behalf of the GLBT community.
