The Alliance Defense Fund has fanned the dying month-old flames of the story out of Erie, Illinois concerning its school district banning books that mention same-sex parents. Not everyone was as thrilled as we were by the Ninth Circuit's decision opposing California's Proposition 8.

The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), whose attorneys are part of the ProtectMarriage.com legal defense team (the proponents of Prop. 8), released a statement asserting their intent to take their case to the Supreme Court.

Our Canadian brethren have passed breakthrough legislation in Ontario, which we hope will go a long way towards decreasing anti-gay bullying.

The bill mandates the allowance of Gay-Straight Alliances in all schools (including Catholic ones).
