LGBT Ally & Marriage Equality Advocate Chris Kluwe Signs With Oakland Raiders

It looks like the Oakland Raiders might be our new footkick squad or whatever they're called!

Punter Chris Kluwe, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, has been picked up by the Raiders, giving us yet another reason to watch important touchdown matches on CSPN this year.

Chris Kluwe may have been cut from the Minnesota Vikings only a few days ago, but his resolve to achieve full marriage equality hasn't gone anywhere. Judging from a new interview with HuffPo, his passion for LGBT rights might have even grown stronger. 

Former and famous Green Bay Packer Leroy Butler has lost out on an $8,500 speaking gig for praising Jason Collins on Twitter. A church in Wisconsin pulled the plug on the contracted gig after noticing Butler congratulated Jason Collins for coming out of the closet, citing a morality clause. 

How did the former footballer respond?

In the best way imaginable.

Is having our own talk show the secret we've needed all along to be able to cute random cute boys? We need to get on it then, because the former Mr. Katy Perry's using his platform to makeout with hotties in the audience AND tweeting evidence of his conquests to his followers. 

The pic was supposedly tweeted to prove that his FX show, Brand X with Russell Brand Live is really, truly, cross-his-heart live. But after seeing the evidence he nominated to prove his claim we were too distracted to care. 

Though supporting the Trevor Project alone is enough reason to retweet or "Like" AT&T's "Live Proud" campaign, a chance to win a meet and greet with Adam Lambert certainly seals the deal.

Could there be a better symbol of the political fight for marriage equality than Jennifer Roback-Morse's hunting ear protectors? Like a tantrum throwing teenager who plugs their ears and screams "I'm not listening, I'm not listening, I'm not listening," the National Organization for Marriage figure head donned the sound-blocking headwear to a recent rally so that she didn't have to hear LGBT supporters call her a bigot. 

Former Baltimore Raven Brendon Ayanbadejo may have just leapt to the top of our list of LGBT allies, based solely on the RIDICULOUSLY hot pic he posted on Facebook a few hours ago.

Needless to say the NFL star isn't slacking off in the wake of his dismissal from the Ravens. He's certainly inspiring us to do more than just workout.

Brendon Ayanbadejo, one of our most vocal allies in the NFL, has been cut from the Baltimore Ravens. He assures the world that the pink slip wasn't given to him because of his outspoken support of marriage equality, however.

The United For Marriage Rally, set for Tuesday morning on the steps of the Supreme Court, has just announced its set of speakers for the historic day. See who will be standing up with us and find out where to get court transcripts, after the jump.

We were already blown away by the Emerson College fraternity brothers who are raising funds for their frat brother's sex-reassignment surgery, and now members of George Washington University's Greek community are coming together to show their support for LGBT students. 

Twenty Greek chapters and GW's largest LGBT organization, Allied in Pride, have joined forces to put on drag show, y'all! 

Proceeds are going to The Trevor Project (and an organization of the winning fraternity's choice).
