We've gotta thank our friends at Huff Po for directing us to our biggest laugh of the day. The website Letters Of Note has unearthed an awesome piece of correspondence between ex-gay former Focus On The Family member, Mike Haley and Will & Grace Story Editor, Jon Kinnally.

In the June 2000 letter, Haley takes Kinally to task for an episode of Will & Grace that mocked the ex-gay movement (an ex-gay leader was memorably portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris).

Check out Haley's complaint and Kinnally's awesome response after the jump!

While we generally spend our time fantasizing about olive-skinned toned Greek gods feeding us grape leaves, we were rudely snapped back to reality when we heard that blasphemy charges had been filed in Greece against the team behind a production of Terrence McNally's "Corpus Christi."

The play depicts Jesus Christ and his disciples as gay, and apparently many conservative members of Greek society are taking issue with it.

Former commissioned officer Allyson Robinson, a transgender female, has been named as the new chief of the newly merged OutServe-Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (OutServe-LSDN), which works to aid LGBT servicemembers and veterans.

According to Buzzfeed, Robinson is "the first out transgender leader of a national organization representing the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community," as opposed to an organization focused primarily on the transgender community.

Updated Wednesday 1:20 p.m. PST

Hell has apparently frozen over (is that Ann Coulter doing a triple toe loop?!) and supporters and opponents of marriage equality in Maryland are planning to come together for a common cause.

They'll be rallying at Gallaudet University on Thursday in support of the reinstatement of Dr. Angela McCaskill, the school's Chief Diversity Officer, who was placed on involuntary paid leave after it was revealed that she'd signed a petition in support of a voter referendum on same-sex marriage rights in Maryland.

What would Will & Grace have been like without Will?

Or at least Will as we know him? Apparently we almost had to find out as according to Megan Mullally, who played our patron saint booze hound, Karen Walker, Eric McCormack initially turned down the role.

Why? He didn't want to play gay.

Watch the short clip from Mullally's interview on Larry King Now after the jump.

In celebration of National Coming Out Day, author Timothy Kurek, 26, is launching the sale of his book The Cross In The Closet.

We were first introduced to Kurek's unique story earlier this summer. Kurek, a straight man that was raised as a devout Christian, made the interesting (and pretty daring) choice to go deep undercover and live as a gay man for an entire year in an attempt to better understand the gay experience.

Kurek not only walked away with a greater sense of empathy for the gay community, but also with a better understanding of himself.

In certain ways Sally Field has always felt like everyone's mom. We're sure our back-to-back screening of her original Steel Magnolias followed by the new Lifetime version only amplified the idea. (We'll let you make your own judgments on who wins in a contest between Sally Field and Queen Latifah).

Still, her speech this weekend as she accepted the Human Rights Campaign's Ally For Equality Award in Washington D.C. had us ready to draft official adoption papers.

Field spoke passionately in support of her openly gay son, Sam, and the LGBT community in general. It's definitely something to see!
