They like us, they really like us!
Rising above the din of dissent emitted by groups like NOM and the AFA, a noise designed to distract Americans from their own evolutions, arrives an infographic courtesy of the Center for American Progress bearing a title that says it all: Marriage Equality is Now a Mainstream Value.

This could actually be fun!
Buster Wilson, general manager of anti-gay hate group the American Family Association's more than 200 radio stations, has called for a boycott of Google following the planned launch of the "Legalize Love" initiative, which will combat anti-gay legislation around the world.
Buster accurately notes that this one will be tough, not only based on Google's status as the world's dominant search engine, but also because of the company's extensive technological reach (Android phones, Gmail, YouTube—all Google!).

American Idol is in need of some major creativity to get back on top of the karaoke show market, and playing musical chairs with the judging panel seems like the show's smartest move.
With contracts for the three current judges, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson, still unsigned, unsealed and undelivered, the rumor mill is a churnin' today with gossip that Adam Lambert is in talks to replace Randy Jackson in a chair behind those over-sized Coca-Cola cups.

Our recycling bins are still filled with the seventeen-hauls worth of tissue boxes we cried ourselves through while watching Shane Bitney Crone's plea for marriage equality after the hell he endured following his late boyfriend's death. Now, Shane and a team of noteworthy producers are hoping to turn "It Could Happen To You" into a feature length documentary that'll undoubtedly turn an even larger audience on to the idea of full marriage equality.

Updated 3:15 p.m. EST with responses from the American Foundation for Equal Rights and NOM's Maggie Gallager (after the jump)
David Blankenhorn of the Institute for American Values was supposed to be the "star witness" of the homophobes defending Proposition 8 before Judge Vaughn Walker a couple years back. But Blankenhorn's testimony didn't exactly end up being as bigoted as Team Prop 8 had hoped (he famously said that it would be in the best interest of children of same-sex couples to allow their parents to marry).
Now, after again confusing his fellow conservatives for opposing North Carolina's disgusting Amendment One, Blankenhorn has officially come out in full force for marriage equality rights.
