Sony Pictures Co-Chairman Amy Pascal challenged Hollywood to take a big step in the right direction last night as she was being honored by the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center at a sold out gala benefiting homeless gay & lesbian youth.

Her message? Change the way we talk about gays in movies and eliminate gay stereotypes and slurs.

She asks, “How about next time, when any of us are reading a script and it says words like fag, or faggot – homo – dyke – take a pencil and just cross it out."

Imagine that. More after the jump.

Taylor, you in danger, girl! Taylor Swift had some harsh words for our girls  Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, after the two poked some good-natured fun at her expense at the Golden Globes.

Piggybacking on Swift's much discussed dating history, the duo cracked that 23-year-old should stay away from Michael J. Fox's 23-year-old son, Sam

Swift, of course, is known for writing tortured love songs about the men that have inevitably done her wrong (and more often than not they happen to be famous celebrities, go figure).

Well Taylor isn't happy to be on the receiving end of a Tina/Amy double-team.

Awards season officially feels like it's kicked off when the Golden Globes come around, no?

And one of the reasons we love the Globes so much is that our fave celebs tend to let their hair down a bit (read: get wasted)!

In that spirit, this year's co-hosts (whom we adore!), Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have created the ultimate drinking game, which we'll certainly be participating in.

Check it out and let us know who you're rooting for tonight after the jump!

It looks like the U.S. Supreme Court will be reviewing a high profile Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) case this week.

Interestingly this particular case will be brought to the court by a California couple married during the short window where same-sex marriage was legal in the state.

Lawyers defending DOMA are certainly reaching--all the way back to 1885, in fact, in their attempts to legally justify the Defense of Marriage Act and the "traditional definition of marriage."  They're arguing that an 1885 polygamy case established a traditional definition of marriage.

The current case centers around Edie Windsor, a widow suing to recoup a $350,000 federal estate tax bill she was forced to pay because DOMA prevented her marriage to a woman from being recognized by the federal government.

Nick from Karmin left us "Brokenhearted" earlier this year, but his Zac Efron meets Ryan Phillippe looks keeps us saying "Hello" to the buzzworthy band. Fun with song titles!

Even beyond the swoon-inducing Nick, Amy's swag-pop style continues to give us new lyrics to memorize so that we keep up with the Boystown boys. Say "Hello" again to Karmin with the duo's newest music video after the jump!

A week ago today Facebook introduced same-sex marriage icons to much fanfare from around the world. But like opening Pandora Boxx, err, Pandora's box, it's only a matter of time before things get real fishy.

The hilarious folks at LIberal Bias imagine the "Slippery Slope of Facebook Gay Marriage Icons," after the jump.

Hmmm. We might have to ask our biological clocks to tick for another ten years.

Another day, another study proving that straights and gays both exhibit the same parenting lifestyles.

As harbingers of trends that are often adopted by the mainstream, gays might really be onto something with the community-accepted but society-taboo practice of open relationships. At least according to a small scienc-y study by the University of Michigan. Details follow.

Well it looks like Colorado Rep. Don Coram wasn't the only Republican representative who chose to actively deny his gay son civil rights when he voted to kill Colorado's civil unions bill.

He's joined by Colorado Republican Rep. Marsha Looper who has a gay son and also voted against civil unions in the state.

Apparently Looper's upset that her campaign manager let it slip (read: shouted from the mountain-tops) that Looper's son is a homosexual. Up until this week that "dirty little secret" had been kept underwraps.

More after the jump.
