Tags: anna nicole smith, bbc, operas, tv, wtf Already destined to be a cult-hit, the BBC has announced plans to produce an opera based on the life of the late Anna Nicole Smith. Yes, really.
The opera, shot by in-house BBC talent, will be produced by The Royal Opera House and composer Mark Anthony Turnage, and will air in the U.K. in early 2011.
My only quesiton (other than a major WTF?) is: Will Sugar Pie be involved?
