Republican Colorado Rep. Don Coram cast the deciding vote killing civil unions on Monday in committee, preventing the bill from receiving a full House vote.

It came as quite a shock to us when Coram mentioned that he has a gay son.

His son, Dee Coram, has spoken out regarding his father's vote.

Hear what he has to say after the jump.

Bristol Palin has now tasted what some of the countless LGBT she denigrated last week suffer through their whole lives after criticizing Obama's support of legal recognition for gay-couple-helmed families. Though it's always a head scratcher when a bully throw a tantrum after being criticized for their bullying ways, a few of the comments posted to Bristol's blog entry do take it way too far.

Kristen Wiig, you're needed!

This video is our new favorite thing, if only because we've never seen anyone presented in such unfiltered, batsh*t glory!

Meet Jane Skrovota.

She's too delicate to say the word "penis," but she's certainly willing to give a graphic (and inaccurate) depiction of anal sex. Also lesbians have all been raped via Rohypnol and Judas was a homo. Oh and Whitney Houston was murdered. Apparently.

Sit back and watch this genius after the jump!

Republican members of the House Armed Services Committee are doing their best to ensure that gay servicemembers continue to feel like second class citizens.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln football coach, Ron Brown caused quite the uproar when he spoke out against legislation that would add gender identity and sexual orientation to Lincoln, Nebraska's list of protected classes.

Petitioners immediately called for his firing and many have questioned whether Brown is capable of following UNL's own anti-discrimination policy.

Brown seems to think that his anti-gay views have no impact on his ability to do his job and meet the university's standards. Check out his open letter after the jump.
