Though Seattle Archbishop J. Peter Sartain has launched a Catholic petition drive in an effort to repeal Washington's newly minted marriage equality law, not all parishes are obliging. The National Organization for Marriage and the Archdiocese of Newark have found themselves likely bedfellows in their attempts to ruin the lives of LGBT folks in New Jersey. 

The new Catholic approach to dealing with its homosexual members has found a test market in Hartford, Connecticut, where the archdiocese there has launched Courage—an abstinence program designed to tell LGBT Catholics it's OK to be gay, well, as long as you're not gay.
