Apparently Republican "rising star" Rand Paul is fine with gay and lesbian couples receiving benefits and tax breaks as long that pesky word "marriage" isn't involved.

Wow! In a bold move that, if passed, will certainly provide incentive for groups to embrace equality, California State Senator Ricardo Lara (D-Long Beach) and Equality California, today, announced the introduction of new legislation that would remove a state tax exemption for any youth group, that discriminates against members and leaders on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

And yep, that includes the Boy Scouts.

Max and Charlie Carver (of Desperate Housewives fame) are returing to our radar to put some dirty rumors to bed. After a Teen Wolf fan complained that there won't be any shirtless studs on the third season, the show decided to flex some muscle to wrestle the worries to the ground. 

"Here's hoping this photo puts those ugly rumors to rest," writes a Teen Wolf rep on its Tumblr page.

Results from a new study out of the University of Montreal find that openly-gay LGB folks are more relaxed than our closeted counterparts, but it's the comparison to the mental fitness of heterosexuals that might be the real shocker!

During it, we get our first listen at voicemails left by Manti's infamous girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, shortly before her "death." Apparently, Manti's gay friend Ronaiah Tuiasosopo was the one behind the hoax the entire time and developed "intense feelings" for the athlete during the entire episode. 

A coalition of LGBT leaders has sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner demanding that he immediately stop using millions of taxpayer funds to keep the Defense of Marriage Act alive in courts.
