Marriage equality received a new ally today in the form of Beau Biden, son of VPOTUS Joe and Delaware's Attorney General.

An unofficial source who claims to have been standing next to Linda Carragher Bourne (and also claims to be a friend of hers) has given his own clarification of what Vice President Joe Biden actually said.

We pondered whether Biden had called LGBT equality "the civil rights issue of our time" while other sources have quoted the press pool as saying Biden used that description specifically for transgender discrimination.

Vice President Joe Biden seems as sure as Brad Pitt that federal marriage equality in the U.S. is inevitable. At a campaign stop in Ohio, Biden spoke with a lesbian couple about same-sex marriage.
