Bryan Fischer's extreme animus toward gay people is already a sign that he may be repressing something that has lead to self-hatred and homophobia (like science has told us so much about in recent years). But his latest hilarious shaming from Alan Colmes really makes us wonder...

Overlooking every other abomination that the King James Bible has decided to print since mid-20th century, Pat Robertson continues to focus his life on one vague modern passage.

In a rare twist, he's not alone.

Earlier this week we reported on ESPN sportswriter Chris Broussard, who denied openly gay NBA star Jason Collins his faith. Unsurprisingly, Robertson has rushed to defend Broussard from contemporary society, culture and the history books.

Chris Broussard, a sportswriter for ESPN Magazine, appeared on ESPN live today to disparage NBA player Jason Collins. Gay ESPN sportscaster LZ Granderson was part of the conversation and replied to Chris's claims, "I really don’t need Chris or anyone else telling me if I’m a Christian because Jesus tells me I am."

Tens (if even) Catholic students at the University of San Diego held a pray-in on Thursday night in an attempt to save the school from becoming the eighth gate to hell by hosting a drag show starring Manila Luzon. Last we checked, Manila Luzon and the students have not yet turned in to Emily Rose, so we're not sure what the prayer protest managed to accomplish aside from bringing more publicity to the drag show.

Anyway, if you have a morbid curiosity, check out the handful of students praying against evil drag queens after the break.

Homophobes in France aren't letting civil rights become law without a literal fight. As opponents of civil rights find themselves frustrated with the inevitable success of equality, they're turning to darker and more dangerous means to get their antiquated and bigoted points across.

Could there be a better symbol of the political fight for marriage equality than Jennifer Roback-Morse's hunting ear protectors? Like a tantrum throwing teenager who plugs their ears and screams "I'm not listening, I'm not listening, I'm not listening," the National Organization for Marriage figure head donned the sound-blocking headwear to a recent rally so that she didn't have to hear LGBT supporters call her a bigot.

Iowa State Senator Dennis Guth (R) really let his true colors shine Wednesday while pointing a finger at the media for "tricking" Americans into supporting civil rights.

And that's just the beginning.

Anti-gay hate group Focus on the Family has been implicitly teaching bullies that beating up gay kids is cool with god for years. But this year's preparation for its annual "Day of Dialogue" (that coincides and contradicts GLSEN's yearly anti-bullying event, "Day of Silence") takes FoF's pro-homophobia message even further.

Check out the gasping-ly anti-gay and anti-children video for the 2013 "Day of Dialogue" after the break.

The students of John Hopkins University should be applauded for voicing their disgust that a noted anti-gay bigot had been hired to give their graduation address this year. Due to student uproar over his comparison of homosexuality to pedophilia and bestiality, lauded John Hopkins pediatric neurosurgeon Ben Carson has withdrawn as the commencement speaker for the graduating class.
