Homophobic wingnuts are up in arms today over word that Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson has filed a lawsuit against florist Barronelle Stutzman.

Stutzman made headlines earlier this year when she refused supplying floral arrangements for the wedding of a longtime gay customer due to her "relationship with Jesus." There are many problems with her refusal, most of which is it's contrary to Washington state's anti-discrimination laws. And now she faces a lawsuit and a $2,000 fine for her anti-gay bigotry.

Georgia GOP chairwoman Sue Everhart has put on a vagrant display of homophobia that will soon enough be relegated to museums, history books and period pieces directed by Stephen Spielberg.

During an NY1 segment on marriage equality week at SCOTUS, a man named Chris took the opportunity to call in to the NYC news station and call for the death of gays.

There are too many puns being tossed around the gay blogosphere based on folk singer Michelle Shocked's name that we'll leave that one well enough alone (though they are much deserved, apparently).

We are still wearing our laced black veil over our gorgeous mugs in memory of Olympic wrestling, which yesterday was killed as an official sport of the Games by the IOC.
