"Gay Marriage House of Horrors," a website just launched by homophobic activists in Maine ahead of a possible marriage equality initiative in November, is ruffling some feathers (and not just the ones on the boas of the two revelers pictured here) across the blogosphere today. 

Unfortunately the hangover we woke up with after last night's Amendment One madness won't go away by taking four Advil downed with a Bloody Mary back. Thanks to the Amendment One campaign congratulating god on contributing to the amendment's passage, our eyes have rolled so far back in our head we can count just how many precious hair follicles we've lost to the demonization. Fortunately, we remain calm and resolved knowing that the tide of equality is slowly washing over the country.

As we wait on pins for the New York State Senate to vote on marriage equality, the state's notoriously bigoted Archbishop Timothy Dolan has issued a hail-mary (no pun intended) play in the name of hate and discrimination from afar.
