Overlooking every other abomination that the King James Bible has decided to print since mid-20th century, Pat Robertson continues to focus his life on one vague modern passage. In a rare twist, he's not alone. Earlier this week we reported on ESPN sportswriter Chris Broussard, who denied openly gay NBA star Jason Collins his faith. Homophobic wingnuts are up in arms today over word that Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson has filed a lawsuit against florist Barronelle Stutzman.
Stutzman made headlines earlier this year when she refused supplying floral arrangements for the wedding of a longtime gay customer due to her "relationship with Jesus." There are many problems with her refusal, most of which is it's contrary to Washington state's anti-discrimination laws. And now she faces a lawsuit and a $2,000 fine for her anti-gay bigotry.
