This time the unlucky target on the other side of Chris's acerbic tongue is Archbishop Nienstedt of St. Paul/Minneapolis, who soaked up headlines earlier this week for telling a Catholic mother she would go to hell if she chose to love her gay son.

It was only last month when leaders of the Catholic church in Minnesota mailed 400,000 anti-gay, anti-equality DVDs to parishioners, a plot to frighten them into church-sanctioned bigotry. While the backlash was immediately noticable, it might have reached fever pitch this week.
