While we generally spend our time fantasizing about olive-skinned toned Greek gods feeding us grape leaves, we were rudely snapped back to reality when we heard that blasphemy charges had been filed in Greece against the team behind a production of Terrence McNally's "Corpus Christi." 

The play depicts Jesus Christ and his disciples as gay, and apparently many conservative members of Greek society are taking issue with it.

One magazine is seriously working overtime to get a fatwa on their arse. French satire mag Charlie Hebdo is stirring controversy over their latest issue featuring a gay Muhammed, which led to their office getting firebombed. Photos and details after the jump.
