Florida's Lake County School Board members are acting more like kindergartners than adults in their consideration of allowing a gay-straight alliance in their district. 

UPDATE: 11:30 a.m. EST

The Boy Scouts of America have released an official statement on board members' decision to delay their vote on the archaic gay ban until May of this year. Check out what the BSA has to say after the jump. 

As the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America begin a three-day meeting that will determine where the group officially stands with regards to gay Scouts and Scout Leaders, they'll have 1.4 million voices to contend with.

According to GLAAD, "four Scout leaders whose petitions on Change.org sparked a national movement to end the Boy Scouts of America’s anti-gay policy, delivered more than 1.4 million signatures from their combined petitions to the Boy Scouts headquarters today.

Gay radio hosts Craig Olsen and Robbie Laughlin have transformed a message of hate into one of hope after a billboard promoting their show was vandalized twice in four months.

Following two rejections by Orange County's Board of Supervisors, Harvey Milk Day will now be recognized in Orange County, California.
