Falsely linking homosexuality with pedophilia isn't exactly a new concept amongst conservative "Christian" wingnuts, but Liberty Council member and Christian radio host, Matt Barber, took it a step further when he illustrated his views on why gays shouldn't be allowed to join the Boy Scouts.

Barber tweeted a super classy cartoon that's we're sure is getting a lot of laughs amongst the extreme right wing set. Take a look after the jump.

Hate group the Family Research Council has likely scoured America for a few years before finally finding its pay dirt: the Goode family, which won't allow its young boys to be Boy Scouts if the organization's ranks are opened up to gay kids.

Rick Perry's myopia was on display yet again over the weekend when he appeared on a Boy Scouts-centric webcast hosted by hate group the Family Research Council. Threatening the ruin of the Boy Scouts of America at the hands of the "pop culture" of the LGBT community, Perry and fellow bigot Tony Perkins imply that the threat of inclusion will blow over as long as the BSA remains steadfast with its discriminatory policies.

It looks like California may hit the Boy Scouts where it hurts--in their wallet.

A move to make the organizaion ineligible to receive nonprofit tax breaks based on its discriminatory practices, passed its first vote today in the California state legislature.

Whew! Well this is a relief, primarily because if we suddenly had to boycott Chipotle (one our most consistent cheat day pleasures) we're not sure how we could have handled it. 

Chipotle was signed on to sponsor the Boy Scouts' "Utah Scout-A-Rama," but admitted yesterday that its sponsorship violated the company's own corporate non-discrimination policies.
