As if they weren't already perfect for each other based on their sheer 10 ratings alone, now the world is coming to learn that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are even more star-crossed because their parents are a bit backward.

Jon Voight, the one time famous actor who is now mostly known for being Angie's dad (and for random anti-Obama rants), appeared on Fox "News" to defend Jane Pitt's homophobic love letter to Mitt Romney.

Updated 11:50 p.m. EST

It's still National Hangover Day (and boy how we observe this holiday!), and it looks like we weren't the only ones celebrating.

After confirming to ThinkProgress (who made the story national) that the writer of an anti-gay letter was the mother of Brad Pitt, an editor at the Springfield News-Leader redacted the publication's confirmation and then redacted that redaction.

Redactions must grow on trees over there in Springfield, Missouri!

Whew!

We didn't exactly rush to the gift registry earlier this year when Brad Pitt said that he and Angie had grown tired of waiting for equality and might have to take the matrimonial plunge despite their famous friendly promise. But Jennifer Aniston has been given more time to fit her face for a prosthetic disguise and ready her objection speech for the A-Lister's wedding day—the couple still plans to hold off on tying the knot until gay and lesbian couples are given the same right.
