Facing huge controversy in the wake of embattled Army Specialist Bradley Manning being named Grand Marshal of San Francisco Pride, the organization's president Lisa L. Williams has issued a statement claiming that Manning's nomination was a "mistake" and that he was never actually named Grand Marshal.

Not surprisingly, San Francisco Pride's decision to name Army Specialist Bradley Manning as Grand Marshal of their Pride parade has been met with a lot of controversy, particularly among military personnel. 
 
Sean Sala, an LGBT military activist, is calling for a boycott of San Francisco Pride.

Bradley Manning, the openly gay US Army private accused of the biggest military leak in the country's history, has been included in the 231 names to receive a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.

Protests in New York are swelling with dissatisfaction over the top 1 percent. Nope, we're not referring to Occupy Wall Street, but instead to another issue near and dear to our black, dead hearts; one that's vital to the very fabric of American society: People's annual Sexiest Man Alive issue.

On Wednesday, we brought you word that the publication had controversially bestowed Bradley Cooper with the honor. In the two days since, anger has manifested into protests over Ryan Gosling getting screwed (perhaps we should re-word that or risk distraction from this sentence on...?).
