Former Baltimore Raven Brendon Ayanbadejo may have just leapt to the top of our list of LGBT allies, based solely on the RIDICULOUSLY hot pic he posted on Facebook a few hours ago.

Needless to say the NFL star isn't slacking off in the wake of his dismissal from the Ravens. He's certainly inspiring us to do more than just workout.

Brendon Ayanbadejo stopped by Anderson Cooper 360 and clarified his statements regarding the alleged four NFL players that may come out at the same time, as well as whether or not his outspoken LGBT advocacy had anything to do with the Baltimore Ravens releasing him from the team.

His position within the NFL may be unclear after getting cut from his team on Thursday, but former Baltimore Raven Brendon Ayanbadejo still has his ear to the closet door within the organization.

Brendon Ayanbadejo, one of our most vocal allies in the NFL, has been cut from the Baltimore Ravens. He assures the world that the pink slip wasn't given to him because of his outspoken support of marriage equality, however.

Some heavy hitters turned out for Sunday's Face The Nation discussion of Tuesday's U.S. Supreme Court hearing on marriage equality. 

Vocal LGBT advocate and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo, Family Research Council head Tony Perkins, Freedom to Marry's Evan Wolfson, Alliance Defending Freedom's Austin Nimocks, and former President Bush staff member David Frum (who opposed marriage equality, but now supports it), all came ready to play!

We may be biased, but we thought Evan Wolfson was a shining star. He laid out the arguments for why the Supreme Court should OBVIOUSLY rule in our favor and he made hate group leader Tony Perkins look pretty foolish.  Watch after the jump!

The Illinois LGBT community received some welcome love from the Chicago sportsworld today in the form of athletic icons asking the state House to approve marriage equality.
