Rutgers University has combined its resources with the Tyler Clementi Foundation to form the Tyler Clementi Center.

The Center, named after the Rutgers freshman that took his own life after a private sexual encounter he shared with another man was broadcast across the internet without his consent, "will draw from academic disciplines across the university and throughout the nation to create new programs and approaches to address issues that confront young people – specifically vulnerable youth making the transition from home to college."

The chances that a kid will be a victim of bullying decreases as they age, according to a new study published today in the journal Pediatrics. According to English researchers responsible for the report, bullying peaks at early adolescence and gradually peters out over the years.

Well it looks like Maryland's Boy Scout Pack 442 has been bullied into submission. 

The inclusive scouting pack, that publicly noted their support of scouts and  leaders regardless of their sexual orientation, folded to pressure from Boy Scouts of America higher ups.

The Amazing Race victors shared a letter today from the mom of 12-year-old, Colin, who's openly gay and dealing with the most daunting ordeal ever: middle school. 

We literally just twitched. 

The Beekman Boys, Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, decided to show Colin their support and they got the entire cast of The Amazing Race on-board to do it.

Oof. The Family Research Council is pulling no punches as it attempts to link President Obama to the ever outspoken Dan Savage. 

Their basic "message"?? It Gets Better Project founder Dan Savage is an anti-Christian bully and Obama likes him so don't vote for him. (Because clearly the two men are thick as thieves and Savage's rhetorical choices are far more harmful than any of the hate rhetoric the FRC spews on a daily basis.)

GLAAD announced today that the six most prominent major sports leagues will all "go purple" for Spirit Day on Friday, Oct.19.

Spirit Day takes a stand against bullying and shows support for LGBT Youth.
