New Zealand beer brand, Tui, is facing a wave of controversy following a billboard campaign that many argue is homophobic.
The ad presumably makes reference to New Zealand's recent legalization of same-sex marriage and reads: "Dad's new husband seems nice." "Yeah right."

Nordstrom is the latest retailer to get into the gay-inclusive mix, albeit a little more subtly than their counterparts like Gap and JC Penney.
Their latest ad for their Nordstrom Weddings department is titled "Nordstrom: The Ultimate Wedding Party" and it appears based on our count that two of these wedding parties are for gay couples.

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Office of Smoking and Health is including members of the LGBT community in its new anti-smoking campaign.
That makes sense considering CDC data shows that LGBT people are almost 70% more likely to smoke cigarettes than others. (Sidebar, what's with people lighting up after they leave the gym??)
Check out the CDC's video with Ellie, who currently lives with her partner in a smoke-free home. Ellie suffers from asthma caused by second-hand smoke; she's never been a smoker. Watch after the jump.

As the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America begin a three-day meeting that will determine where the group officially stands with regards to gay Scouts and Scout Leaders, they'll have 1.4 million voices to contend with.
According to GLAAD, "four Scout leaders whose petitions on Change.org sparked a national movement to end the Boy Scouts of America’s anti-gay policy, delivered more than 1.4 million signatures from their combined petitions to the Boy Scouts headquarters today.

United Colors of Beneton's inclusive principles has long been an overused punchline, but we're glad to see the jokes haven't deterred the iconic fashion house from pioneering acceptance in the fashion world.

With the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) potentially ending its ban on gay Scouts and Scout leaders, you'd think that'd be cause for at least a cautious celebration, right??
Not so fast. The policy that may replace the nationwide ban is giving the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) pause.
The proposed new policy would give sponsoring organizations permission to institute their own bans on gay Scouts and troop leaders at the local level.
