Carly Rae Jepsen has put her affinity and allegiance to the LGBT community ahead of performing for the anti-gay Boy Scouts of America.

As hoped—and following Train's lead from earlier this week—the Canadian "Call Me Maybe" singer has backed out of a scheduled performance at the Boy Scouts of America's 2013 Jamboree.

It looks like the Boy Scouts may have to rethink their lineup at this summer's Boy Scouts National Jamboree, now that the band Train has said they'll pull out of their scheduled performance if the Boy Scouts don't do the right thing and remove their ban on gay Scouts and leaders.

Check out the band's statement after the jump!

Smash and Browadway star Wesley Taylor (Rock of Ages, The Addams Family) showed us an entirely new side of his talent (his tighty-whitey clad bubble butt) as he joined buzz band the Skivvies on stage for an inspired Robyn/Blondie/Carly Rae Jepsen medley.

Check out the seductive (and brilliant) performance after the jump!

We had a moral conflict with posting the 4,000,000,000,000² "Call Me Maybe" video. But today is the start of the Olympics and there are plenty of shirtless American Olympic swimmers in this video, so, you know, our arms were tied and all that.

Check out the U.S. Olympic Swim Team's version of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" after the jump!

Four hundred and some Mind Erasers since Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" penetrated the pop culture radar in late 2011 and we finally have the tune out of our heads, freeing up some real estate for "Good Time." Check out the brand-spank-us-new video for Carly's feel-good follow up to her debut hit (with help from Owl City) after the jump!

150 years from now we'll be in an all-gay retirement home in Palm Springs, groping hot young hot nurses and still watching new video parodies of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."

Not that we're complaining!

Marines could dust off a Kenny G muzak track and toss in some straight boy choreography and we'd still salivate and applaud their efforts.

Watch adorable Marines stationed in Afghanistan ask you to call them after the jump!

When we first heard through the gayvine that someone out there mashed-up summer's two most infectious songs, we begged that pair of hands in the still above to obey the good penmanship and not. push. the. damn. button.

But our tantrum didn't work and, too our surprise, this inevitable mash-up of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" actually doesn't make our brains explode. Almost counterintuitively, the crafty reworking is like hearing the infectious songs for the first time. Still, a hazmat suit might be required to follow the jump for the explosion of viral goodiness.

We can't fault Cookie Monster for being a little late to the parody game with his cookie-sharing parody of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." In fact, bitch can have all our cookies cause it's still Speedo season.

Check out how Sesame Street indoctrinates youngins into the homosexual lifestyle, after the jump!

Leave it to Abercrombie & Fitch to give us sheer musical and visual artistry.

This latest addition to the "Call Me Maybe" phenomenon makes such brilliant use of light and shadow. It shows an appreciation and grasp of the male form that Michelangelo would envy.

It's rivaled, dare we say it, only by Magic Mike in terms of cinematic greatness, specifically its use of mise en scene and depth of field.

Watch it and revel in its glory after the jump.
