After drop kicking the Boy Scouts and backing out of her scheduled performance at their annual Jamboree, Carly Rae Jepsen rushed into the warm embrace of the gays.

She's just signed on as the closing musical act at White Party!

Carly Rae Jepsen has put her affinity and allegiance to the LGBT community ahead of performing for the anti-gay Boy Scouts of America.

As hoped—and following Train's lead from earlier this week—the Canadian "Call Me Maybe" singer has backed out of a scheduled performance at the Boy Scouts of America's 2013 Jamboree. 

It looks like the Boy Scouts may have to rethink their lineup at this summer's Boy Scouts National Jamboree, now that the band Train has said they'll pull out of their scheduled performance if the Boy Scouts don't do the right thing and remove their ban on gay Scouts and leaders.

But our tantrum didn't work and, too our surprise, this inevitable mash-up of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" actually doesn't make our brains explode. Almost counterintuitively, the crafty reworking is like hearing the infectious songs for the first time. Still, a hazmat suit might be required to follow the jump for the explosion of viral goodiness. 

We can't fault Cookie Monster for being a little late to the parody game with his cookie-sharing parody of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." In fact, bitch can have all our cookies cause it's still Speedo season.
