Elliot Morales, the accused suspect in the shooting death of 32-year-old gay male Mark Carson (pictured), has been charged with second-degree murder as a hate crime. 

Morales allegedly "laughed in hideous glee" as he confessed.

We're pretty sure Chris Brown is breathing a sigh of relief this Super Bowl Sunday...

After it was reported earlier this week that Frank Ocean was planning to press charges against Brown for his alleged attack against him, Frank has had a change of heart.

Well, the wait is finally over for gay gamers who were excited that Star Wars: The Old Republic was going to include same-sex romances in its most recent expansion pack. The move, which was announced in 2012 and incited ridiculous fears from bigots of "RuPaul Darth Vader" dolls, was rolled out last week. But how the big, progressive move was implemented hasn't exactly left a good taste in the mouths of the gay galaxy. 

We devoted plenty of pixels in 2012 to the story of British producer David Cecil, who was jailed and faced criminal charges in Uganda after staging a gay-related play in the notoriously anti-gay African nation. The drug scandal that returned former One Life To Live star Scott Evans back to the limelight picked up again today as the openly gay actor appeared in court. Details follow.

Scott Evans, the openly gay actor most well known for playing Officer Fish on One Life to Live and brother of Captain America's Chris Evans, was arrested in L.A. last night on an alleged narcotics charge. More details after the break.

Horrifying pictures of a hospitalized Mallory Owens have been spread around Facebook as much as that copyright statement this week, along with a petition urging Mobile County, Alabama prosecutors to charge her attack as a hate crime. But now that she's well enough to speak to the press, Mallory herself is making some shocking claims about the Thanksgiving dinner assault she faced at the hands of her girlfriend's brother. 

Lisa Biron, a lawyer associated with the virulently anti-gay Alliance Defense Fund, is facing felony charges related to child pornography after being caught in New Hampshire. Details follow. 

While we generally spend our time fantasizing about olive-skinned toned Greek gods feeding us grape leaves, we were rudely snapped back to reality when we heard that blasphemy charges had been filed in Greece against the team behind a production of Terrence McNally's "Corpus Christi." 

The play depicts Jesus Christ and his disciples as gay, and apparently many conservative members of Greek society are taking issue with it.

Yikes. A Minnesota ex-gay minister has been charged with eight felony counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct after allegedly molesting two men who had come to him for counseling in an effort to "put their homosexuality" behind them over the course of two years.
