Adele should have another drink (non-American beer, it seems) to soothe those vocal chords while celebrating at the Billboard party held in her honor: not only was she named Billboard's "Artist of the Year," but it has also been announced that the kicky songstress has marked a historic milestone on the long-running music industry charts. Details follow.

Think what you want about centuries-long gay icon Cher, but the diva can put record sale numbers behind her mettle. Now, thanks to "You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me" (from Burlesque) rising to No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, Miss Cher becomes the only artist to have hit records spanning 32 FIVE decades! That's quite the accomplishment.

If the placenta-bath hibernation facilities in Sweden stay in business and the bionics team at MIT continues to improve its technology, chances are likely Cher will have another No. 1 hit in the '20s!

Who is the only female artist to score three No. 1 hits from the same album in the past decade?

Britney? Nope.

Lady Gaga? Surprisingly, no!

It's Katy Perry, who this week finds her third No. 1 single from Teenage Dream on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Firework." The track's ascension follows the top placing "Teenage Dream" and "California Gurlz" to award Katy Perry with the prestigious distinction of being the only female artist in the past 11 years to score three number one hits from one album.

Kudos, Katy!

“Susan Boyle is hot right now. I got to get her on a track, for real. We’d make a hit.

“Everyone is talking about her, the lady from Britain’s Got Talent.

“She’s got an amazing voice, and together we’d get everyone dancing. I’m always looking to do something new and she’s cool, so I’ll ask somebody to let her know.

“I’d love to take her clubbing, show her around my world. She’d have a great time.”

I don't know about you, but I think that 50 Cent and Susan Boyle could...
