We've heard plenty about the infamous "Box Scene" shared between Kurt and Blaine that never made it off the editing room floor and into Glee's Christmas episode where it was intended. Well, Ryan Murphy finally released the extra scene and thankfully it's nowhere near as sordid as where our dirty minds took it based on the title. 

In fact, it's super sweet.

Thanks to the Vaseline-swathed camera lens and diffused Final Cut Pro filter mandated by RuPaul's Drag Race contract with Logo, it appears the bitch is actually aging backward when compared to her 1993 Christmas special that resurfaced online this week. In fact, not much has changed—aside from Ru ditching her thick New York accent—since the "Xmas Ball" aired live on NY1 nearly 20 years ago. Sad that gaydored fabulous middle-aged females would not be returning to the small screen with a Sex And The City comeback? Perhaps word that fabulous middle-aged females will be returning to the small screen with an Absolutely Fabulous Christmas special will turn that fairy frown upside down! Details follow. 

It may be late-fall gloomy out, but It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It doesn't hurt that the hilarious FX comedy often features gay storylines (including a recent stint involving the gang converting an Irish pub into a gay bar) and GLBT characters representing the full spectrum of our community. But perhaps most remarkably, the IASIP characters have tackled Christmas much in the way we like to be tackled: irreverently, with a sense of humor.

You either love her or hate her, or are scared senseless by her, but whatever your relationship with the fabulous Kristen Wiig's frightening Gilly character, you'd better get used to her: it's been announced that we'll all be cozying up with Gilly for an upcoming Saturday Night Live Christmas special.

The mischevious little girl, a popular SNL character, may not be the first to come to mind when fans think of holiday cheer. But Wiig herself only adds to the curiousity.
