Susan Olsen, the actress who played Cindy Brady in the seminal American TV series The Brady Bunch, was so moved by the marriage equality momentum this week that she took to Facebook to write a tribute to Robert Reed, the gay actor who played her dad.
"Bob was a family man. Had he been allowed to form a relationship with another man, he would have been the best husband ever and might still be alive," she writes.
Check out her full piece after the break.

Maybe Cindy McCain should put that NOH8 tape back over her mouth for a bit and simmer down. First, she blamed the media for painting the GOP as anti-gay. Now she's rushing to defend Kirk Cameron, whom she says is not a bigot.

Did you know that the GOP are the party of equality? According to Cindy McCain, whom we have to applaud for legitimate LGBT activism, GOP lawmakers are pro-gay (but you won't hear it from that pesky liberal media!). How Cindy is right ... and wrong, after the jump.

Support for LGBT rights is a quality passed down from mother to daughter (or is it daughter to mother) in the McCain family. (The tolerance gene seems to skip the McCain males). For her second NOH8 image in as many years, Cindy McCain sports shorter hair and her activist daughter, Meghan. Follow the jump to check out the McCain women's new NOH8 portrait.

Today the National Organization for Marriage is backpedaling away from Cindy Golding, a right-wing anti-gay candidate who ran for office in Iowa thanks to a down-low $40,000 donation from the hate group. Golding lost her bid for a state senate seat during Tuesday's elections and today NOM has unsheathed its claws to call its bigoted bedfellow a "weak candidate."

Anderson Cooper rightfully placed wackjob Cindy Jacobs on his ridiculist for her claim that DADT repeal is causing dead birds to fall from the sky and not nature, as scientists have continued to reveal.
_____
And on Tuesday:
Sure, we mentioned Chris Crocker's new gender-bending extravaganza and the recent spate of massive bird deaths in the same liquor-soaked breath, but we were referring strictly to the apocalyptic quality of the song. Right-wing loon (which is also a bird) Cindy Jacobs actually attributes the bird deaths (which science explains is a natural and common occurrence) to the gays. The horror!
One quick question: if Cindy's vengeful, heartless god decided... FULL STORY

It sounded too good to be true, but Cindy McCain's recent "calling out" of husband Johnny's odd obsession with Don't Ask Don't Tell is now but a memory. Earlier this month Cindy -- to much applause for standing up to her husband's dusted, antiquated (and in-the-minority) support of military discrimination -- said this in a PSA for the NOH8 Campaign:
"Our political and religious leaders tell LGBT youth that they have no future … They can't serve our country openly … Our government treats the LGBT community like second-class citizens, why shouldn't [the bullies]?"
But that didn't last long. Last week it seems the country's most prominent Stepford Wife reverted back to her blind following of her husband's misguided bigotry with a confusing... FULL STORY

Tags: noh8, gay youth, anti-bullying, it gets better, cindy mccain, celebrities, video, dadt A collective of concerned celebrities from Adam Bouska's NOH8 campaign have assembled on video -- sans the project's trademark duct-tape -- to speak out against anti-gay bullying. While seeing NOH8's usual stark-white background and wardrobes without the gray centerpieces is shocking itself, perhaps most surprising is Cindy McCain's blunt disagreement with husband John's DADT-support.

Daytime is becoming gayer than a weekend at the Dinah! Rosie O’Donnell is reportedly heading back to television with her own talk show beginning in the fall of 2011. The news comes on the heels of a deal that went public over the weekend between Rosie and two respected syndication execs.
No word on the exact format of the show, but we’re thinking a hybrid of her former chat fest and The View is likely.
New York gossip columnist Cindy Adams even says that she bumped into Ro herself while dining out and Rosie told her that she just had to get back to television soon. She also supposedly told Adams that the show would take over Oprah’s time slot.
Can a post-View political Rosie still bring in the viewers? Or does Ellen more... FULL STORY

Tags: cindy mccain, noh8, adam bouska, instinct, abc news We were one of the first outlets to tell and show you Cindy McCain's surprising turn in front of the camera for Adam Bouska's NOH8 campaign earlier this week. And since then, it seems every major news outlet and blog has reported the move, which we think is awesome both from the campaign and for Adam, and also for the cause and questions at hand.
ABC News even posed their Question of the Day around the photo, asking viewers what they thought about Cindy's public stance? The posted responses on abcnews.com have been, some-what surprisingly, pretty positive (though not all... FULL STORY
