The Marine Corps is putting its best foot forward in the wake of last month's controversy in which an Army same-sex spouse was denied admittance into a Fort Bragg officers' spouses club.

The Marine Corps has issued a legal advisory stating that spouses clubs operating on Marine bases must admit same-sex spouses if they intend to remain on base.

Last week's decision by the Abbey—located in West Hollywood but considered to be the "best gay bar in the world"—to ban bachelorette parties ignited quite the comment discussion on this here blog.
