Once again Scouts for Equality's Executive Director (and the gay community's favorite son) Zach Wahls destroys the anti-gay opposition with logic. 

During a CNN interview conducted by Don Lemon, Zach takes on John Stemberger, the founder of the anti-gay organization, On My Honor, which is working to keep gays out of the Boy Scouts of America.

America's favorite son, Eagle Scout and Scouts For Equality President Zach Wahls eviscerated homophobe Ed Whelan on Saturday during an interview with CNN's Randi Kaye and it was a thing of beauty. (Seriously, we don't even smoke and we needed a cigarette after.)

Whelan trots out the tired party line of the danger of having gay men around impressionable young boys in the Boy Scouts and Wahls articulately and logically shoots down his argument.

We're not sure where we are most weekends. But when we woke up this Sunday morning in our usual martini hangover haze we heard a little birdy who was chirping the gospel from one of our beloved Bibles, TMZ. What we heard was shocking! Shocking, we say! There was some shade being tossed across a hotel lobby on Friday or Saturday (who can be sure... they all sort of blend after 16 margaritas, don't they?) that would make mighty oaks proud.

CNN's Carol Costello got into it last week during a conversation about the Southern Poverty Law Center-sponsored "Mix It Up Day" with vitriolic homophobe, Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association.

Fischer's rhetoric got so outlandish that Costello actually stopped the interview which, of course, triggered Fischer to cry foul calling Costello a member of "the gay gestapo."
