It’s not the work of Jesus Christ." -- Father Michael Tegeder on the anti-gay DVDs mailed to Catholics in Minnesota.
It was only last month when leaders of the Catholic church in Minnesota mailed 400,000 anti-gay, anti-equality DVDs to parishioners, a plot to frighten them into church-sanctioned bigotry. While the backlash was immediately noticable, it might have reached fever pitch this week.
First, over the weekend Father Michael Tegeder penned a story published in the Minnesota Star Tribune blasting MN Archbishop John Nienstedt for the fallacies in the DVD.
