It sure was difficult, but Fayetteville, North Carolina Pastor Johnny Hunter has officially made Rick Santorum's paper towel spiel come off as sane and eloquent. While clicking two keys together during a rally for a constitutional ban on equality in the state, Rep. Hunter said "the anatomy is not right for a homosexual to even consummate a marriage." Chris Cilliza, our MSNBC crush and author of WaPo's The Fix column, has raised a great point about the 2012 GOP presidential candidates: if they want to kiss the KFC-filled asses of the Tea Party, they need to start picking between states rights or a federal amendment banning marriage equality. They can't have their tea and drink it too.

Sad news out of Wisconsin.

In 2006, voters in the state enshrined homophobia and prejudice in the state's constitution when passing a ban on marriage equality. Today, after judging a lawsuit brought on by those hoping to end the state's legalized discrimination, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, by a vote of 7-0, has ruled that the bigoted constitutional amendment was passed legally and fairly and shall remain in place.
