Two more alleged hate crimes occurred in New York City last night in the wake of yesterday's rally against the previous anti-gay attacks that have taken place in the city in recent weeks.

Elliot Morales, the accused suspect in the shooting death of 32-year-old gay male Mark Carson (pictured), has been charged with second-degree murder as a hate crime. 

Morales allegedly "laughed in hideous glee" as he confessed.

New Yorkers turned out last night for a candlelight vigil to mourn the passing of 32-year-old shooting victim, Mark Carson. 

Carson was murdered early Saturday morning in an anti-gay hate crime.

This morning, marking International Day Against Homphobia and Transphobia, the largest EU survey of hate crime and discrimination targeting members of the LGBT community in the 27-nation bloc and Croatia showed many live in fear and conceal their sexual identity. Details below.

The NYPD has arrested two men in connection with the second horrifying anti-gay hate crime assault we reported last week that occurred near the 33rd Street PATH station.

What's going on in Midtown Manhattan?

Less than a week after eight men allegedly beat boyfriends to a pulp for being gay, another horrifying anti-gay assault takes place in the neighborhood. This time it occurred near the 33rd Street PATH Station. 

The idiots who allegedly assaulted a couple outside of Madison Square Garden in daylight are being plastered all over the airwaves now that the NYPD has released new cell phone footage from the aftermath of the attack.

Bigots are getting brasher in their violent attacks on gay men, it seems, after the latest "potential" hate crime to hit national headlines goes down in Manhattan in the afternoon. 

The Cleveland Plain Dealer publication decided to take the low road in its coverage of the local murder of transgender woman Cemia Acoff. Referring to Cemia as "oddly dressed" and "it" in its reporting, the Plain Dealer is being called out by GLAAD and other groups for its outrageous lack of professionalism.
